Hey, I’m Jose, a Virginia-based self-taught aerial photographer!
My journey with drones began after serving four years in the Marine Corps. It was an exciting yet challenging experience, but it taught me an indelible lesson. Every place you encounter has a story worth telling.
So, instead of spamming friends with my “cool” photos on my Instagram page, (because that can get annoying), I built an online portfolio to make things a little more official. Don’t worry, I am not selling anything! I made it to showcase the beauty of God’s creation without a cost.
As a fun fact, I am originally from the flatlands of Indiana, but I now call Virginia home (at least for now), studying at the University of Virginia and preparing for law school in the near future.
When I’m not tinkering with drones, you can find me either training for my next ultra-marathon (I’ve completed three so far), diving into good books (too many to list here), or satisfying my craving for the best pizza. (Though let’s be honest, Domino’s $9.99 carryout deal on their app holds an unfair advantage over the local favorites.)
I’m by no means an expert, a Jedi in the making at best, but if I seem at least a tiny bit interesting and you want to see more, stay awhile and check out my photos.
